Duc in Altum, a Latin phrase meaning “Put out into the deep,” is taken from the Gospel of Luke 5:4, where Jesus invites Simon Peter to trust Him completely and cast his net into the deep.

This distinguished award honors men & women who have responded generously to Christ’s call through faithful, selfless, and courageous service to the Church. It is a fitting tribute to a life dedicated to serving Jesus in the Eucharist and inspiring others through humble witness.
