Bp. Abarquez was there when the 1st MBG Diocesan Council officers and members were inducted in 16 April 2011.

It was like a mini convention with 400 MBG in attendance headed by Sis. Lil Torrevillas- our new Co-Regional Coordinator for Eastern. Visayas and President , MBG Diocesan Council of the Diocese of Calbayog . In attendance too was Sis. Tess Cabanus – Regional Coordinator for Eastern Visayas. Invited were : Margie Tolibas of Palo, Leyte, Leah Moore Mangada of Catarman, Annie Sacmar of Borongan.
